Puffy and Orange were playing on the beach when they saw a school of fish swimming in the ocean. Puffy had never caught a fish before, but he was determined to try. He asked Orange to help him catch a fish, but Orange was hesitant. “I don’t know how to catch fish,” he said. “I’ve never done it before.”
Puffy was disappointed, but he didn’t give up. He decided to try to catch a fish on his own. He flew out over the ocean and dove into the water, but he came up empty-handed. He tried again and again, but he just couldn’t catch a fish.
Finally, he decided to ask the other puffins for help. He flew back to the colony and asked his parents how to catch a fish. They told him that he needed to be patient and wait for the right moment. “You have to watch the fish and see how they move,” they said. “Then you can catch them.”
Puffy took their advice and waited. He watched the fish swimming in the ocean and studied their movements. He saw that they liked to swim in schools and that they moved together in a pattern. He waited until the fish were close to the surface and then he dove in and caught one!
Puffy was so excited that he flew back to the beach to show Orange. “Look what I caught!” he said. Orange was amazed. “That’s incredible!” he said. “How did you do it?”
Puffy explained how he had watched the fish and waited for the right moment. “It takes patience and practice,” he said. “But anyone can do it if they try.”
From that day on, Puffy and Orange spent their days fishing in the ocean. They caught all kinds of fish and had many adventures together. They were the best of friends and nothing could ever come between them.
